Widespread per- and polyfluoroalkyl Substance (PFAS) contamination is now gaining global attention with the release of the films “Dark Waters" and "The Devil We Know". But in fact, a perfect storm of science, medicine, and law has been building for these toxic chemicals for nearly two decades.
