Stephanie Belseth is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years experience in pediatrics, with an focus on treating complex, chronic patients, and neuro-developmental disorders. Stephanie also has a special interest in preventing health and developmental issues in children through pre-conception testing, counseling and interventions with parents before becoming pregnant, optimal pregnancy nutrition and care, and early intervention for infants, toddlers and young children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She focuses on the microbiome, underlying biochemical imbalances, infections and/or environmental toxin and/or mold/mycotoxin exposures, limbic system impairment, electromagnetic influences and genetic/ epigenetic influences that impact disease in children in order to help them reverse symptoms and function optimally at the highest level possible. She uses principles of nutrition, environmental medicine, holistic/integrative medicine, functional medicine, biomedical medicine, mind-body-spirit medicine and nutrigenomics in her work, and is a champion in helping children and families with lifestyle changes and a wide variety of treatments and healing modalities that support optimal health and healing. She has a special interest in Autism, ADHD, Asthma, mental health disorders, PANS/PANDAS, Autoimmune disease, gastrointestinal disorders, Pediatric Lyme and conditions that mimic it, mold biotoxin illness, electro-hypersensitivity, genetic disorders, cancer, and other complex chronic pediatric conditions.
Stephanie is a MAPS provider and attends conferences by The Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the MN Holistic Medicine Group, Food as Medicine, the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), The Academy of Environmental Medicine, The Forum for Integrative Medicine, the Environmental Health Symposium, The International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness and many others. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She has completed advanced level clinician trainings sponsored by the Autism Research Institute, IFM and MAPS. She has completed the ILADS practitioner training program and has also studied multiple integrative modalities for the treatment of chronic Lyme Disease, and related disorders. She has mentored with many esteemed healers, including pediatrician, Elizabeth Mumper MD at the Rimland Center for Integrative Medicine, Ann Corson MD of Kennett Square, PA, Richard Horrowitz MD of the Hudson Valley Center for Healing Arts, Dietrich Klinghardt MD of the Klinghardt Institute, among several other physicians, practitioners, and healers, and regularly attends a wide variety of cutting edge conferences in order to keep up on the latest research and treatment for children with a variety of different conditions. She sees patients from all over the United States and Internationally, is a sought-after practitioner, and public speaker, and enjoys precepting and teaching. She is the founder and owner of an innovative, cutting edge, multi-disciplinary Center, Newbridge Health & Wellness in Edina, MN which focuses on helping individuals heal from and prevent complex chronic illness. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, the outdoors, organic-whole-foods cooking, volunteering, running, biking, reading, and entertaining family and friends.
