Dr. Paul Heroux is a scientist with experience in physics (BSc, MSc and PhD), engineering (15 years), and the health sciences (30 years). He became interested in public health, and was appointed Associate Professor at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine, where he is the current Occupational Health program director. He teaches Toxicology as well as Health Effects of Electromagnetism. His main contributions are a dosimeter for electromagnetic field measurements, measurement of the electrical properties of living tissues, the detection of karyotype contraction and alterations in necrosis and apoptosis as a result of electromagnetic field exposures.
