Karsten Viborg is the chairman of the Danish patient association for HPV vaccine victims. He lived a traditional family life, with a healthy son and daughter until the summer of 2011. Then the family started to see a daughter becoming seriously ill with symptoms like chronic headache, lost hair, numbness in her arms and legs, pain in her back, insomnia, chronic fatigue, hearing and vision disturbance, paralysis and fainting became daily problems. This continued for two years, until a newspaper article came out about another Danish girl the same age with the same symptoms who had been harmed by the HPV vaccine. Realizing that the public health system in Denmark had no treatment, Karsten began researching on his own. After reading more than 700 scientific articles and having more than 300 different tests done on his daughter, Karsten became a key player in a small group of professors and doctors with expertise in immunology. Together, they worked to find treatment protocols for the injured. The results were amazing. Three years of frequent fainting has now become five years without a single fainting. Paralysis from hips and down, which happened one or two times every week in three years, is now history.
